Aiken/Augusta Energy Summit
September 14th - September 18th
The 5th Annual Aiken/Augusta/Southeastern Energy Summit is in active development produced by Linton Consulting and numerous Partners and Sponsors in conjunction with E4 Carolinas! As in past years, we will explore that state of the Energy Industry covering a wide range of current Energy topics. Deeper dives into nuclear, gas, energy/infrastructure/cyber security, the future of the grid, energy storage and much more will be accomplished through multiple site visits, keynote presentations and panels.
We are bringing together leaders from primarily Southeastern and U.S./North American organizations to explore the dynamic Energy Economy and further envision how it is expanding and changing. We will explore the energy and generation mix; transmission, pipelines, energy security, AI/Data Centers, large energy users and the Grid of the Future. We will discuss the outlook for fossil, nuclear, renewables and hydrogen in the economy of the future.
This networking, educational and strategy planning event will convene leaders from Energy, Power, Renewables, Industrial, Manufacturing, Regulatory / Government, Developer, Vendor, EPC and Financial organizations. Please consider joining us for all or parts of this unique and diverse event!

Monday, September 14th
Visit and tour the largest nuclear site in the U.S., Vogtle Nuclear Plant in Waynesboro, GA. Learn about the future of nuclear power from large-scale to mid- and micro-reactors (Westinghouse, Hadron, and Antares). Explore developments in large plant operations and fuels. Vogtle, Unit 4, is the standard design platform for Westinghouse AP 1000 new builds. Separate registration required.
Attend the kick-off welcome reception sponsored by Atwell, overlooking the Savannah River, in the evening.
Tuesday, September 15th
Join us for the Summit’s overview and official keynote at the Georgia Cyber and Innovation Center in Augusta, GA. Meet Matt Neal, President of Siemens Energy N.A., and an executive panel of energy leaders discussing top priorities for generation, transmission, and the future grid. Learn about natural gas and transmission’s role in meeting Southeast’s demand growth, infrastructure and cybersecurity strategies for protecting energy systems, and the latest in AI data centers, opportunities, and industry challenges.
Wednesday, September 16th
We’ll meet at the Applied Research Center in Aiken, SC, near the Savannah River Site, to hear the latest developments, vision, and opportunities for Nuclear Power in the Carolinas and the nation. A diverse panel of electric utility leaders will discuss the Integrated Resource Planning process and its outlook based on current plans. This panel will help us understand the Southeast’s priorities for rapid growth.
On Wednesday afternoon, partnering with the Savannah River National Lab (SRNL), we’ll host breakout groups to explore 4-6 Focus Technology-related topics. SRNL experts will lead these Working Groups, developing strategies for the future in areas like SMR & Microreactor Fuel Cycles, Fusion Fuel Cycle, Artificial Intelligence, Power Grid Resilience & Critical Infrastructure, Critical Minerals / Materials, and Workforce.
Thursday, September 17th
Thursday will continue the 4-year tradition of major Energy Users sharing their latest views on growth, needs, regulations, and investments. These include Industrial/Manufacturing, Maritime/Ports, Aviation/Airports, and Federal/Defense leaders. You’ll interact with them and learn about their priorities and needs in today’s new policy and economic environment, where tariffs and trade are dominant issues.
Friday,
September 18th
We’ll visit the VC Summer Site in Jenkinsville, near Columbia, SC. The visit will include a site tour, project updates, and insights into the new business model, challenges, and opportunities in the growing nuclear power industry.

No! We understand that you may have a busy week, but still want to attend. Individual day tickets will be available when tickets go live.

Absolutely! Most of the sessions will have a live recording and a virtual ticket is offered at a discounted rate
