Visit and tour nuclear plant Vogtle in Waynesboro, GA. Besides seeing this largest nuclear site in the U.S., now completed, we will learn about the outlook and future of nuclear power from large-scale to small and advanced reactors. A lot is changing and new programs and projects are under consideration. With all the discussion about new nuclear, this is a must attend.

  • Tuesday, September 16th

Join us for the Summit’s official kick-off at the Georgia Cyber and Innovation Center in Augusta, GA. You will experience the keynote address by James Kerr, CEO of Southern Company Gas; hear from an Executive Panel of Energy leaders as they discuss top priorities for generation, pipelines, grid of the future and more; obtain insights from an Infrastructure and Cyber Security panel of experts to learn about protecting vital Energy and Infrastructure systems. Learn about Data Centers and the opportunities and challenges for growth they offer. Hear more about how reliability and resilience can be achieved through enhancements now underway.

  • Wednesday, September 17th

We will meet at the Applied Research Center in Aiken, SC for a keynote by Richard Voorberg, CEO of Siemens Energy N.A. Mr. Voorberg has his finger on the pulse of U.S. and global Energy trends as few others do, participating in Energy, Electricity and Transmission across the globe. We will also hear from the DOE, from Utility leaders and a Public Service Commissioner as they continue to develop and refine their plans and guide development by State. Finally, update on a range of technologies and specialty topics such as Hydrogen, Fusion, Storage, BESS, Microgrids, Transmission & Pipelines, transformative I&C and more…

  • Thursday, September 18th

This day you will experience a series of Panels sharing needs and opportunities of major Energy Users. These will include Industrial/Manufacturing, Maritime/Ports, Aviation/Airports and Federal/Defense leaders. Interact with them and learn about shifting priorities in today’s new policy and economic environment where tariffs and trade have become leading issues. Hearing about their challenges and lessons-learned should be very impactful for your future business.

Experience a tour of selected areas of the Savannah River Site. Learn about SRS through a presentation on it's history, past and current Missions and envisioned technology developments and commercialization opportunities.
