Travel to Vogtle

• Please wear close-toed shoes.
• All will travel separately in your own vehicle to Plant Vogtle (approximately 50 minutes from the Augusta Marriott). Please share rides where possible to reduce the number of vehicles to park.
• Please arrive at the Plant Vogtle Visitor / Energy Education Center by 11:30 am for lunch and networking, sponsored by Westinghouse.

Tour & Presentations

• The Orientation and History of Plant Vogtle begins at 12:00 PM, followed by a site bus and limited walking tour of Units 1, 2, 3 & 4, as well as the Control Room Training Center. Some walking is required.
• We will visit the Vogtle Vantage Point site, then return to the Energy Education Center.
• The afternoon features presentations on modular power for defense assets (Antares), Westinghouse (AP1000 to AP300 and nuclear fuels), and the business case for Hadron’s microreactors, concluding at approximately 5:10 PM.

Travel to Augusta

• All will travel separately in your own vehicle back to Augusta, GA. The next activity will begin at 6:30 pm.

Reception & Parking

• The Welcome Reception runs from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, sponsored by Atwell. The duo, Low Country Locals, will be performing.
• Parking is available across the street from the Georgia Cyber Center.
• When you enter the building, please grab your name badge from the front table and proceed toward the security desk. The elevators are straight across from the security desk and you will proceed straight up to the roof.

Day 2 Sessions

• The Georgia Cyber Center is about 2 blocks from the Marriott. If you are not staying at the Marriott, there is a parking deck immediately across the road from the Cyber Center.
• The Summit kicks off at 8:30 AM with welcome and introductions, followed by a Siemens Energy keynote and an executive panel on meeting state and regional energy demands.
• Morning sessions include a Natural Gas & Transmission panel, an energy security briefing, and an Energy, Infrastructure & Cyber Security panel.
• Lunch will be held from 12:35 pm to 1:05 pm.
• A tour of the Georgia Cyber Center follows lunch at approximately 1:05 PM. Eric Toler will meet everyone to begin the tour in the conference room.
• The afternoon covers the U.S. and Southeast energy outlook, AI / data center trends and policy, a data center owner discussion, and a session on developing and powering data centers, wrapping at approximately 5:15 PM.

DC Blox Tour

• Contact Linton Consulting to register for the evening tour.
• DC Blox Data Center visit, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM.
• Those on the tour list will receive driving directions after all spots are confirmed.

SRNL Work

• There is abundant parking in front of the building. Please do not park in reserved spots.
• The morning program is at the Applied Research Center, about 25–30 minutes from the Augusta Marriott and about 20 minutes from Aiken hotels.
• We start at 8:30 AM. Morning sessions cover SC and Southeast perspectives, the Fairfield Nuclear Power Project update, integrated resource planning, new power plant digitalization & AI, and an introduction to the new Savannah River National Lab working groups.
• After lunch, the group will all leave the Applied Research Center and commute to the afternoon Breakout Sessions. The sessions will begin at 1:45 pm.
• An evening reception follows the breakout sessions from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with drinks and hors d’oeuvres, co-sponsored by Amentum and Yokogawa.

Day 4 Sessions

• There is abundant parking in front of the building. Please do not park in reserved spots.
• Start at 8:30 AM with a recap, followed by a session on changing energy policy and regulations.
• This day is built around a series of sector panels — Industrial, Maritime & Ports, Aviation & Airports, and Federal / Defense — each exploring the changing priorities for energy across that sector.
• Lunch will be provided from 12:30 pm – 1:15 pm.
• The day concludes with a summary, Q&A, and recommendations at approximately 4:45 PM.

VC Summer Tour

• If you have secured a slot for VC Summer, you have been emailed directly to confirm your attendance. Specific driving instructions will be sent out once slots are confirmed.
• Meet at VC Summer by 9:30 AM for the welcome and introductions.
• The morning covers South Carolina and Southeast perspectives, the VC Summer nuclear business model, and project and site history, followed by a tour orientation and safety briefing.
• Site tours run in two alternating groups (simulator and site laydown), escorted by the project team, with a lunch break and open project-status discussion midday.
• The Summit concludes with a session on the vision for new nuclear in the U.S. and workforce development action planning, wrapping up by approximately 3:00 PM.
